SOLO/DUO COACH SELECTION
Applications close Sunday 13 September.
Before completing the solo coach preference form please familarise yourself with the coach profiles and check that they are available to coach the item you would like to perform
INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING FOR BENTLEIGH SOLO COACH
- Complete the form for the section you will be competing in next year (2027).
- If you would like to participate in multiple items (eg cali solo, graceful, duo) please complete a seperate registration form for each.
- During registration you will be asked to select your preferences for a solo coach. Please ensure you have read and understood all the information provided.
To register for a Bentleigh solo coach you are required to pay the following
- $20 registration fee (per item). This fee includes the following:
- admin costs Bentleigh solo coach process
- admin costs of invoicing and payment of coaches
- admin costs of allocation of, invoicing and payment of studio hire.
- $60 choreography & music fee (per item). This fee is passed directly to the coach and goes a little way to reimburse the coach for their time to choreograph an item and select and cut the music for the item.
Due to the large number of students applying, completion of the preference form does not guarantee that you or your child will be allocated to their first choice of coach.
CALIVIC SOLO GRADING
2027 New Grading Applications
Grading applications are now open for performers who don't currently have a grading and want to compete in Cali or Graceful Solos. If your portal doesn't show a current grading, you'll need to apply for one.
Grading is mandatory for Local, Regional, and Country Solo competitions. It's not required for CaliStars or Recreational Solos.
Applications close 11:59pm, 13 September. There's a $25.00 application fee (plus RevSport transaction fee), which will be deducted from your first competition entry. This fee is non-refundable if you don't go on to enter a competition after receiving your grading.

COMPETITION ENTRY
Solo entires will open on 16 NOVEMBER 2026 in a staggered format starting with the younger age groups.

• Full payment must be received by 13 January 2026.
• Payment method: Credit or debit card only.

COMPETITION SCHEDULES
When schedules are released, you will be able to view your personalised competition schedule by logging into your MyCompHQ profile and selecting My Schedule. This will show your performance date, time, and venue
