SUMMER SCHOOL 2024

Everyone is welcome to join our Summer School program!    Sunday 21st January at our studios @ 11 Walter Street, Moorabbin.
Tinies Summer School is suitable for ages 3-7 years, no calisthenics experience is required.  
Our Beginners Summer School sessions are suitable for Sub-Juniors and Juniors (ages 8-13 years).  No calisthenic experience required.
Our Advanced Summer School is suitable for Intermediates, Seniors and Masters.

Congratulations to Cathy and coach Claudia for her HM (4th) place at the ACF Nationals Competition representing the Victorian State team.   Cathy competed in the Sub-Juniors Calisthenics Solo section receiving 4th place and was also a representative of the Sub-Juniors team receiving a reserve aggregate with her team mates.

Term 3 CaliFit Class

Are you interested in a fun  fitness class based on calisthenics skills?  Interested in increasing your fitness, flexibility and strength?  This class is suitable for anyone who is interested in trying calisthenics but not competing, those who may have done calisthenics in the past and are interested in easing back in. Absoulutey no previous experience needed.  

MONDAYS 7:00PM-8:30PM

Congratulations to Cathy Kang who has been selected for the Sub-Juniors Victorian State Team. Cathy will be travelling with the Victorian team to Queensland in July to perform with the Subbies team.  Good luck Cathy from everyone at Bentleigh.

TERM 4 RECREATIONAL CLASSES (3-10 YEAR OLDS)
We offer recreational classes for students who are interested in trying calisthenics without competing in the competition season.    
Thursdays 5pm-6pm (starting 6th October)
Saturdays 10am-11am (starting 8th October)

TERM 4 CALI FIT CLASSES (ADULTS)
Fridays 6:30pm-8:00pm

TERM 4 CALI BALLET
Every 2nd Friday (starting 7th October)
Would you like to improve your Cali Ballet technique?
Beginner  (typically older tinies and subbies)
5:00 – 5:45 pm (cost $120 or $15.00 per week)
Intermediate One (typically juniors)
5:45 – 6:30 pm (cost $120 or $15.00 per week)
Intermediate Two (typically Inters/Juniors)
5:45 – 6:30 pm (cost $120 or $15.00 per week)
Advanced (select students with previous ballet training) 7:15 – 8:15 pm (cost $160 or $20 per week)
Classes are taught by Claudia Jenkinson (who trained at Joffrey Ballet School in New York) and include:
  • Correct stretching techniques
  • Cali-based ballet skills (on barre and centre)
  • Routines to improve memory and increase physical and performance skills

National Championships 

Congratulations to one of our Juniors, Larissa Pitruzzello, and her coach Kylie on the fantastic achievement of being selected to represent Victoria at the National Championships for solos and placing 5th in the Junior solo division . This comes off an incredibly successful solo season and a lot of hard work, dedication and passion. Well done Larissa and Kylie.

What a great day at Subbies camp! It was great of both class days to get to work together team building, learning their items and putting on mini concerts for each other! 

Come & Try Classes - 2021

What a year 2020 was! It was great to see all our performers being so flexible and participating in online classes for most of the year! We are so so excited to be back training at our hall in 2021. If you are interested in seeing what calisthenics is all about we would love to see you in February 2021 at our Come & Try Classes. Camp 2021

The Sub Juniors, Juniors and Inters are getting excited to go on cali camp over the next couple of weeks.

We kick it off with the Juniors & Inters on 22nd & 23rd May and then the Sub Juniors on the 12th & 13th June! We can't wait to see what our teams achieve and hope everyone has a great time away with their team mates.

Now that we are all settling into our classes for another year it is a fitting time to say thank you to those who have worked so hard behind the scenes to make the start of this year run so smoothly. To our hard working volunteer committee, principal coach and our section reps, thank you for all that you do for our club.
